Glenwood In Images

Its been a long time coming....

I have not posted in quite sometime. Since my last entry, a lot has changed in my life. A relationship has come and gone, I've lost a few old friends and gained a few new. The biggest change coming down the pike is leaving the South, a place I have called home for the past five years. This move was a difficult decision to make, but at this point in life it is time to see what the future holds. Saying i'm terrified is an understatement. But here is to new beginnings, and to my extended family here in Atlanta, thanks for the photos, the memories, the laughs, the cries, and the nights we no longer speak of.
In a lot of ways life is changing for all of us here in Atlanta, my friends who I have photographed countless times are moving out of the their home at 303 Glenwood Ave. The walls in which we celebrated our greatest accomplishment and sulked in our lowest defeats. On Sunday we got a few hundred friends together for one last night, a night to remember us as we are young, foolish, and full of beer and the promise of a fresh start once the hangover wares off. I shot a few photos that night, and here they are.

Thanks to everyone who came out that night, and thanks to my friends allowing me the honor to document the occasion. I will post the images a bit later tonight.

Snow Days

A few days ago, a few friends and I spent the evening sledding down our neighborhood streets. I decided to shoot a few photos of our late night adventure on what will probably go down as the snowiest night in Atlanta history.

New Years Day/ Snow Day

I have not kept up with my New Years resolution to post once a day/week. So on top are a few images from our first major snow fall here in Atlanta. The bottom are from a few days into the New Year.

Muffin Man X-Mas Party

My friends Marcos, Randy, Will, and Ej threw a bit of a Pre-Christmas party. I found this to be a chance to shoot the last roll of my 800 speed Kodak film. Recently I have been a bit sluggish in posting, my New Years resolution will be to post at least two times a week. Wish me luck, and see you all in 2011! p.s. below are images from an X-mas party blur.

Its begging to look a lot like X-Mas

Last night, I walked around the neighborhood, to see what EAV had to offer. Along the way I shot more of the neighborhood itself, the over the top lights I had intended on shooting were just a happy addition.
